We have numerous PMP-certified professionals, procedures that follow the PMI quality guidelines, and complete, accurate and auditable document management. Our group of PM’s also has the ability to fast track or crash a project if required, and have done so many times. It is through experience that the teams know which steps need to be sequential and which steps can be run in parallel in the execution of a project.


Quality is paramount to our team. We have a full set of our own specs, procedures for project execution, templates and databases for cost estimating, procedures for scheduling, and web-based project management software to improve efficiencies and provide transparency. The software handles time sheets through to invoicing, procurement, cost control, change management, document management and earned value report generation.


We have a highly skilled design team with a diverse wealth of knowledge, capable of performing as a ‘rescue crew’ for difficult or behind schedule projects. They have excelled in such projects as process packaged equipment, modularized facilities and grass roots central processing facilities. Field Upgrading Ltd

Project: DSU Reactor Project

Scope: Completed a DBM study for the Clean Seas project

2500 bbl/d demonstration plant for the removal of sulphur from bunker fuel. Carried on with the project to develop a test of the DSU technology using a continuous stirred reactor to prove the technology. The DSU technology is designed to remove sulphur and metals from heavy oils and refinery bottoms using molten sodium to produce a clean marine fuel that complies with the new lower ISO sulphur specifications.

Managing Director/Project Manager. A founding member of Sentio, Kathleen is a highly skilled, well-respected professional engineer. She brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to all her projects while specializing in the critical areas of process design and project management. She was a partner at Concise Design for 16 years and is well known for her ability to fast track and crash projects when deadlines are the primary constraint.


P.Eng. MBA

Frank offers experience earned in rotating equipment and fabrication since 1990. This experience is complemented by extensive technical and business training. Our clients will receive the benefit of his multidisciplinary experience and a seasoned, practical blend of skills.



Frank has well over 30 years of combined experience in the engineering, procurement and construction of domestic Canadian and international oil and gas projects. Frank is also the Past Director of AACE.



Doug is an acknowledged industry leader in water treatment design for over 30 years. Among his accomplishments, he is a co-holder of the United States Patent for ‘Transportable Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit.’ Doug has worked at water treatment companies, (Glegg and Zenon), EPCM firms, as well as on the business owner side. He brings a full scope of knowledge to every job. Doug’s strong technical background in mechanical and process engineering allows him to design and build cost-effective solutions to challenging problems.



Neeroo has over 20 years in process engineering experience in the oil and gas industry. She has provided process simulation training and support nationally and internationally. Neeroo combines her excellent communication skills with her process engineering experience to become an effective team member.


Carl brings over 30 years of innovative oil and gas experience in automation and control design. He is a decisive and creative individual with a strong proclivity towards teamwork. Carl’s solid, yet flexible approach to design allows him to successfully complete both large and small projects in a cost effective and time efficient manner.


Alexa has experience in document and information management in the oil and gas industry. She has experience in identification of bottlenecks in information flow within and across departments. She has been instrumental in the successful creation and implementation of document management systems in various companies.

Lixin Yu

MSc. P.Eng.

Lixin has over 15 years of hands-on experience in Domestic Canadian and International Projects. She has significant experience and technical proficiency with all aspects of project controls, thorough understanding of engineering & procurement deliverables and processes in the O&G industry. Expertise in project execution planning, development, maintenance and forecast of project schedules, Critical Path Analysis; progress reporting, cost control and forecast, change management and schedule/cost trending, risk management and mitigation.

Wally has over 40 years of experience in project controls management, project & construction cost estimating, project planning and scheduling, construction field engineering, engineering & construction scheduling, cost analysis, AFE budget preparation, project engineering, mechanical engineering design, and instrument installation & calibration for projects that have exceeded $3B. He has taught courses at U of C and sat on the Board of Directors for AACE for many years.



Lindsey has over 10 years working as an engineer on electrical design and installations from low voltage PLC to medium voltage distribution, variable frequency drives, system studies, project scoping, project management, cost estimation, project contract/document creation, heat trace design and also has field experiencec including commissioning and start-up.
